How to distinguish the quality of quartz stone? You can refer to the following methods:

1. See hardness

The first way to distinguish the quality of quartz stone is to look at its hardness. You can use a key or knife to scratch the surface of the quartz stone to check the scratch.

2. Look at the surface

The second way to distinguish the quality of quartz stone is to look at the surface. Authentic quartz stone has smooth surface, soft touch, uniform surface particle distribution, small and clear particles. The fake quartz stone feels a little like plastic, and the surface particles are not evenly distributed.

3. See thickness

The third way to distinguish the quality of quartz stone is to look at its thickness. There are only four thicknesses of real quartz stone, namely 15mm, 18mm, 20mm and 30mm. The thicker the thickness of quartz stone, the stronger the bearing capacity and the higher the price.

However, the quartz stones with a thickness of 10-13mm on the market must not be fake.

4. Use white vinegar

The fourth way to distinguish the quality of quartz stone is to use white vinegar. Drop white vinegar or alkali water on the surface of quartz stone and wait quietly for a few minutes to see if there is any reaction. Generally speaking, good quartz stone will not react to white vinegar and alkaline water, and it will be cleaned by gently wiping. The poor quartzite will react to white vinegar and even bubble.

5. Burn with fire

The fifth way to identify quartz stone is to use fire. Take a lighter directly to burn the surface of quartz stone, and good quartz stone will not be damaged at all, because quartz stone can withstand 300 ℃ high temperature. The poor quartz stone will have a pungent smell when burned, and even be burnt seriously.

6. With a marker

The sixth way to identify quartz stone is to write with a marker. The real quartz stone has a good stain resistance. Even if you draw on it with a marker, you can easily erase it with paper. The poor quartz stain will remain on it, which is difficult to wipe, and the stain may also penetrate into the interior.
