Custom Wardrobe Size
The closet drawer is a box for storing things in the closet. Whether you are buying a finished wardrobe or a customized wardrobe, there will be a standard for the drawer size and overall size. Only by mastering the size standard can you design a suitable wardrobe.
1. What is the size of the wardrobe drawer
When designing a wardrobe, usually 3-4 drawers are designed under the top area of the wardrobe. The drawer size standard of the wardrobe is: the upper edge of the top drawer of the wardrobe should be less than 1250mm from the ground, if it is used by the elderly, it should be considered about 1000mm; the lower edge of the bottom drawer should be greater than 60mm from the ground, and the depth of the wardrobe drawer should be 400~500mm. The height of the wardrobe drawer is generally between 150-200mm, and the width is generally between 400-800mm.
Second, what is the size of the wardrobe
1. Standard size of wardrobe:
According to my country’s national standards, the standard wardrobe size includes the following points: the depth of the swing door wardrobe is between 550 and 600mm, the depth of the sliding door wardrobe should be greater than 626mm, and the distance from the bottom edge of the clothes rail to the bottom of the long clothes should be greater than 1350mm. For shorts, the distance should be greater than 900mm, and the depth of the stacking area should be greater than 450mm.
2. The depth of the wardrobe:
The depth of the wardrobe is generally between 550-600mm. Excluding the wardrobe back panel and the wardrobe door, the depth of the entire wardrobe is between 530-580mm. This depth is more suitable for hanging clothes.
3. Closet door size:
The size of the wardrobe door first depends on the width of the wardrobe door. The standard width of the side-opening wardrobe door is generally between 450-600mm, and the size of the sliding wardrobe door is generally between 600-800mm. Secondly, it depends on the height of the closet door. The height of the side-swing closet door is generally between 2200-2400mm. If it exceeds 2400mm, a top cabinet can be designed. The height of the sliding closet door is the same as the size of the side-swing closet door.
4. Clothes hanging area size:
If the main hanging short clothes and suits in the clothes hanging area, the minimum required height is 800mm; if it is hanging long coats, the minimum height is required to be no less than 1300mm.
5. Size of the trousers hanging area:
The height of the trousers area should be 650-700mm, and the distance between the clothes rail and the upper plate should be 40-60mm. The installation height of the clothes rail is generally 200mm plus the height of the hostess.
6. Stacking area size:
The width of the stacking area is generally between 330-400mm, the height is not less than 350mm, and the distance between the laminates is about 400-600mm.
7. Storage area size:
If you put shoes in the storage area, the size should be between 250-300mm; if you put a quilt, the height should not be less than 400mm; if you store other items, the height size is more flexible, but try to be as high as the size of other space areas same.
