Interior design of wardrobe
The interior of the wardrobe needs to be well designed, which is usually divided into stacking area, clothes hanging area, drawer area, pants extraction area, bedding area, etc. In terms of ergonomics and use frequency, the area above 1.85m in the wardrobe belongs to the low-frequency use area which is inconvenient to take, and can be used to store seasonal bedding, etc. The area between 0.65-1.85m in the wardrobe can be easily picked up, belonging to the high-frequency use area, which can be used to store seasonal clothes. The space below 0.65m is generally designed as a drawer for storing underwear, socks and other small items.
Stacking area: the width is recommended to be between 33-40cm, and the height of the laminate is about 40cm. Due to the change of living habits, the stacking area should not be set too much, just enough.
Clothes hanging area: It can be divided into long clothes area and short clothes area. The height of the long clothes area shall not be less than 1.3m, and the height of the short clothes area shall not be less than 80cm. The clothes hanging area can be designed as the main storage area inside the wardrobe.
Drawer area: the height of the first floor is about 15-20cm, which can be made into honeycomb lattice for storage or the finished dense mesh basket design can be selected.
Pant extraction area: the height is between 65-70cm, and a layer of Babel can be considered above the pant extraction area for storing accessories, etc.
Bedding area: the height shall not be less than 40cm, otherwise large bedding cannot be placed.
Finally, don’t neglect the design of the cabinet door. Cabinet doors can be divided into swing doors and sliding doors, of which swing doors have high beauty, small interior space and large radian, but have requirements for bedroom area, which is more suitable for spacious bedrooms. The sliding door only occupies the space of the wardrobes, and will not occupy other space of the bedroom when it is opened and closed, which is more convenient, but the opening radian is small, the track is also easy to accumulate dust, and it is difficult to clean, which is more suitable for small bedrooms.
