1. Check the hue and surface roughness of the sideband. The color of the surface of a good fringe zone is also very important. Whether the color is close to a customized product is gorgeous. If the surface is very rough and has traces, the quality is definitely not good. This is the surface quality of the sideband. It has little to do with the internal material quality of the edge banding material, mainly the production technology of the edge banding factory and the production technology of the employees. Good edge banding stripes: the surface must be smooth, no blistering or bubbling, no or little drape, moderate gloss, not too shiny or too matte (unless otherwise specified).
2. Look at the flatness of the surface and bottom of the edge strip. Unevenness will cause the edge strip and the board to have a seam, and the gap between the board and the edge strip is too large to affect the overall beauty.
3. Whether the edge trim is whitish, whether the surface of the curved edge strip is blunt, and whether the undercut of the edge strip is close to the surface color of the hard piece. PVC edge banding is mainly made of PVC and calcium carbonate plus additives. If the calcium carbonate content is too high, whitening and whitening will occur, which proves that the quality of these products is not good.
4. Whether the strength is good, high strength means good wear resistance, the corresponding quality is also better, and the strength is too high, which means that the processing difficulty is increased. If the elasticity is not high, it means that the abrasion resistance is not high and the anti-aging ability is low. In addition to actual production needs, it is usually necessary to manually trim the edges, and the soft spots can be made appropriately.
Whether the wardrobe is of good quality, whether it can be used for a long time, there are too many influencing factors, but the problem of edge banding is definitely a very important reason.
