Design and planning of kitchen cabinet
1. Kitchen layout
Let’s talk about the layout of the kitchen first: mainly closed, semi-open, and open.
1) Closed kitchen
It belongs to the most conventional kitchen, and the renovation and transformation are relatively simple.
2) Open kitchen
Generally, it is more suitable for a small apartment, or if you don’t cook often, it is more spacious and bright, and you can chat while cooking.
3) Semi-open kitchen
Change the kitchen directly to a wide-sided door, and then install a glass sliding door or a folding door. You don’t want to tear down the wall. The bigger the kitchen door, the better.

2. The kitchen design schemes mainly include: one-word, two-word, U-word and L-word.
If the kitchen is small, you can directly choose the one-shaped or L-shaped layout. If the space is large, choose the U-shaped layout as much as possible, which is more practical. The two-shaped layout is mainly suitable for units with small living balconies.
Small-sized middle island: When cooking, an extra countertop can be used to temporarily store ingredients, and the kitchen flow is also optimized by the way.
3. Kitchen design details
Mainly pay attention to color matching, lighting and size in daily use.
1) Kitchen color matching
If you want the kitchen to be brighter, choose the style of white + wood color.
Dark gray kitchen cabinets with light gray wall tiles are attractive.
White minimalist style, especially clean, pay attention to maintain the overall unity of the kitchen color matching.

2) Kitchen Lighting
Most homeowners install ordinary flat-top lamps in the kitchen. The lights are dim, and it is easy to see a dish. You can try aluminum gusset ceiling mounted spotlights, spend a small amount of money to do big things, the appearance and lighting effects have nothing to say.
3) Kitchen size
Countertop height: sink countertop height: height/2+5cm, the stovetop is 8~10cm lower than the high table
Height of the hanging cabinet: The distance from the bottom of the hanging cabinet to the countertop is generally 60~70cm, but it is recommended not to exceed 60cm. It is better to hold the cabinet if it is lower. In addition, the depth should not exceed 35cm, so that it is not easy to bump your head when cutting vegetables.

The height of the hood: The difference between the distance between the hood and the stove is 75cm, which is the golden value. The height can be adjusted upwards, but it must not exceed 80cm, otherwise it will affect the effect of oil smoke.
Sink size: the width of the drain area of the sink is ≥30cm, so that there is enough space for the drain rack.
