Kitchen cabinet boards are divided into two categories: one is solid wood board, and the other is artificial board. The price of solid wood panels is too high, and there are too many pits. Generally, there are few choices. Today, I will focus on artificial panels.
Particle board: one of the most used boards on the market at present. The production process is to break the logs into pieces and then press them with glue. The water resistance is relatively general, the nail holding force is very good, and it is relatively durable as a cabinet board.

Solid wood multi-layer board: It is made of many layers of about 1mm thin boards, which are pressed together with glue. The waterproof performance is good, the stability is good, it is not easy to deform, and the nail holding force is also good.
MDF: Also known as MDF, the logs are made into powder, and the whole is made by adding glue and hot pressing. Poor waterproof performance, easily deformed by moisture, not environmentally friendly.
From the perspective of durability, solid wood multi-layer boards are recommended to customize the cabinets, which perform well in all aspects, and secondly, solid wood particle boards can also be selected. But to choose a large manufacturer, the edge must be done in place. The thickness of the board is recommended to choose 18mm, which will be more durable.

Cabinet door material The cabinet door material is divided into many kinds according to the appearance, and you need to choose according to your own needs. I will talk about the commonly used ones: plastic door panels: the base material is MDF, which is formed by vacuum forming. The color texture is realistic, there are many optional styles, and it is not cracked. It is a relatively mature wardrobe door material.
Moulded door panel: The base material is also a density board, which is veneered with a PVC mask and made of high temperature hot pressing. It has strong plasticity and many colors and styles, which can meet the needs of any furniture.
Painted door panel: The base material is also MDF, and the surface has been painted, polished and baked at high temperature for many times. Bright colors, high-quality texture, waterproof and moisture-proof, easy to clean and take care of.

Melamine veneer: The paper with texture and color is soaked in melamine adhesive, cured and dried, and then applied to the surface of MDF, particleboard or hard fiberboard by hot pressing, but it can only be made flat, not modeling. Wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant, not easy to deform, and cost-effective.
