2. The height of the cooking table is suitable
Since each person who cooks is different in height, a cooking table of the same height may be suitable for one person, but may not be suitable for another person. When designing a cooking table, the height of the person who often cooks should be the main consideration. Here is a reference formula for everyone: height of cooking table=height/2+5cm. In the case of the uniform height of the countertop, the sink is actually embedded, while the stove and pot are raised.
I don’t feel it when I look at it, but when I actually use it, I feel that there is a big difference in height between the two places. I have to bend over and bow my head when washing vegetables, and the cervical and lumbar spine are too uncomfortable. 3. Reasonable storage space
The importance of kitchen storage space is self-evident. The most important part of kitchen storage is on the cabinets. When designing cabinets, you should also pay attention to the following details:
①The wall cabinet should be at the top
Hanging cabinet + floor cabinet is the most common storage mode in the kitchen. Putting the wall cabinet to the top can improve the integrity of the space, increase the storage space, avoid sanitary corners, and make it more practical. For the convenience of use, a lift-type hanging basket can be installed, and it can be pulled down directly when it is needed, which is very convenient.
②Installing the chest of drawers
The chest of drawers can make the items more neatly placed, and the internal compartments are added, which is clear at a glance and more refreshing. The utensils and seasonings are placed in two drawers respectively, and there are compartments inside, which are convenient to hold and can also avoid messy debris piled up on the cooking table.
③ Use corner space
The L-shaped or U-shaped countertop can make good use of the corner space in the design, install the shelf, and add an extra kitchen cabinets to increase the storage space.
4. Make full use of auxiliary light sources
Many people’s kitchens may only have one main light. When washing or cutting vegetables, it is inevitable that the light will be behind the light, and the light source will encounter dead angles, and the countertop cannot be seen clearly.
