The embedded design of kitchen cabinet and appliances can be integrated into the home decoration, which can make the overall space more tidy, and at the same time improve the space utilization and highlight the fashionable and beautiful visual effect. And in many decoration cases, it is nothing new to embed appliances such as washing machines, TV sets, air conditioners, refrigerators, ovens and other appliances into the overall storage cabinet.
However, “built-in electrical appliances” are not meant to be built-in. They need to have certain pre-installation conditions. Today we will talk about the problems that will be encountered in built-in design.
First, the size of the built-in appliances
In the embedded design, it is generally necessary to determine the size of the electrical appliance first, and then design a custom cabinet; in the later stage, many people worry about a problem: if the electrical appliance is damaged or eliminated, it needs to be replaced, because the cabinet limits the size of the electrical appliance, so buy a new one Electrical appliances can only be bought from the market, not from the large ones; in addition, there are still some electrical appliances of the same size of the same brand or different brands, so you are not afraid of not being able to buy suitable electrical appliances.
This problem seems serious, but the probability of occurrence is very small. At present, the service life of such built-in appliances is very long, and compared with the “redecoration cycle”, it is uncertain which will come first.
Second, the problem of heat dissipation
For electrical appliances that need heat dissipation, in a relatively closed cabinet space, the heat dissipation speed is not only slow, but also has a certain impact on the cabinet; at the same time, it needs to be treated differently according to the heat dissipation methods of different electrical appliances. The main way to solve the problem of heat dissipation is to reserve enough space between the electrical appliance and the cabinet, and at the same time use a board that is resistant to high temperature and not easily deformed, or add a layer of thermal insulation material to protect the cabinet.
In addition, for electrical appliances with special requirements for heat dissipation, for example, ordinary ovens cannot be embedded in cabinets instead of special embedded ovens. Generally, the instructions indicate the size that needs to be reserved for the embedded oven. Different brands and models sometimes require different sizes. The same, so it is recommended to understand clearly to avoid problems during installation.
Built-in special-purpose electrical appliances are usually more expensive than ordinary electrical appliances, and since we cannot know the internal temperature of the cabinet, we can install monitoring and alarm devices and link to the smart home system to avoid risks.
Three, water, drainage and power problems
1. Power socket, first of all, regarding the power socket, it is generally best to set the socket on one side of the electrical appliance or in the adjacent cabinet, which is convenient for management and operation; in addition, if the socket is directly set behind the electrical appliance, then the cooling device of the electrical appliance needs to be considered. Whether it is in the back or not, it is also necessary to consider the depth of embedding, because the thickness of the socket panel and the power plug will take up space, which will cause the machine to protrude a few centimeters when the appliance is embedded, which is very unsightly.
2. Water inlet and drainage
For electrical appliances with water inlet and drainage needs, it is recommended to determine the location of the water inlet according to the installation diagram of the water inlet pipe and the drain pipe on the manual. If the water inlet is set behind the appliance and not enough size is reserved, the appliance will definitely protrude a few centimeters and cannot be embedded perfectly;
If the drainage floor drain is set below the appliance, the height of the appliance from the ground will become the main factor affecting whether the drainage pipe can be connected to the drainage floor drain.
Fourth, the problem of flat embedding
Refrigerator and washing machine have many contradictions in the flat embedding, because the depth of the cabinet is generally about 60 cm, and the “thickness” of the refrigerator and washing machine is often greater than or equal to 60 cm, and a certain space needs to be reserved, so it causes Many refrigerators and washing machines have problems of a few centimeters.
In addition, the refrigerator door is relatively thick. If the design is flat, the kitchen cabinet needs to reserve enough space on both sides to ensure the normal opening and closing of the refrigerator door.
